Terms of service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Please read these terms before you place an order. They explain who we are, how we sell our products to you, and what to do if there is a problem. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is run by Affinity Gifts Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12063025). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Affinity Gifts Ltd.
You can contact us by email at affinitygifts.uk@gmail.com or through our contact form.
2. Your order
- When you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. This does not yet mean we have accepted your order.
- Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order.
- If we can’t accept your order – for example, because an item is out of stock or there was an error in the price or description – we’ll let you know and refund any payment in full.
3. Our products
- We show our cards and gifts as accurately as we can. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and sizes are approximate.
- Where a product page lists details such as the number of cards, designs, envelopes or the inside message, we’ve taken these from the product or the supplier’s information.
- Where a product supports a charity, the charity and donation details are those given by the publisher for that product.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (£). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken when you place your order.
- If we find a pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before dispatching. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Delivery
- Delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are on our Delivery & Returns page. Orders placed by 1pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day.
- Delivery times are estimates. We’re not responsible for delays caused by the delivery service or by events outside our control, but we’ll help you if your order is late.
- For orders delivered outside the UK, the destination country may charge import duties or taxes, which are payable by the recipient.
- Your order is your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Changing your mind – returns and cancellations
- Our 30-day returns: if you’re not happy with a non-personalised item, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange. Items must be unused and in the condition you received them.
- Your legal right to cancel: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can also cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of delivery. If you cancel your whole order under this right, we’ll refund the price you paid for the items and the standard delivery charge you paid.
- To return an item, contact us first with your order number. We’ll reply with our returns address. Unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item, you pay the cost of returning it.
- We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, using the payment method you used to order.
- Personalised items can’t be returned unless they are faulty or we made a mistake.
7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as you can with your order number and, if possible, a photo. We’ll put it right with a replacement or a refund, including your cost of returning the item. This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable.
- We sell our products for personal use. We’re not responsible for any business losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
9. Using our website
- You may use our website for personal shopping. Please don’t misuse it – for example, by trying to access it without permission or introducing viruses.
- The content on our website, including our text and photographs, may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
- We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Your personal information
We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Events outside our control
We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption or severe weather. If this affects your order, we’ll contact you and you can cancel for a full refund of anything not delivered.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our website when you placed it.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
